Prospect Swetenhams appoints Simon Wood as Data Services Manager

Prospect Swetenhams has announced the appointment of Simon Wood as its new data services manager. Wood was previously an account manager in the bureau team. As well as Prospect Swetenhams, he has also worked in account management at LBM.

Commenting on Simon’s appointment, Lindsey Sandom-Brown, head of client services, Prospect Swetenhams, says: “Our data services team has been created to reflect changes in the way we service our clients – and the very different needs those clients now face. As such Simon will be at the heart of our client teams, making sure that whatever they require in terms of data management and analysis – from the building of bespoke data pools to the provision of sophisticated data manipulation – we can provide the right solution for them. Simon, with his excellent account management skills, is just the person to deliver this across all our accounts – and to help us build new business as well.”

Says Simon Wood, “I’m in a unique position having left Prospect Swetenhams for LBM and then returned. The organisation I left is not the new organisation I have now joined. Though the provision of data for client acquisition campaigns and the management of lists is still part of the mix, our focus is now firmly on making data work more effectively for our clients by building cost effective platforms to help them open up opportunities and see just how data can make a significant difference to the way they do business. That’s a very exciting proposition and one I am very happy to be part of.”

Prospect Swetenhams is one of the UK’s best known B2C and B2B data services companies, providing both UK and international broking and list management, with over 150 million names traded in 2006. Recent investments in data acquisition, database analytics and bureau services (including the acquisition of Wegener DM International by parent company Bisnode) has further strengthened the company’s position as a true full service supplier and strategic partner in developing customer acquisition and retention strategies.
